How do you explain a process on a website?
A process section shows the steps from first contact to result, so visitors know what happens after they click. The sections here present it as numbered steps, a timeline, a roadmap with a line that draws as you scroll, an accordion with an image per step, a weekly schedule, or phases that change shape. Most hold three to five steps, which is also what people remember.
Name each step by what the customer gets or does, not by your internal stage: “You get a first draft on day 5” is clearer than “Phase 2: Concept”. If timing matters, give each step a number. Each section is a single React file with Tailwind classes; animated lines and counters show their final state when reduced motion is on.

Frequently asked questions
Three to five. Fewer than three is not a process, more than five is hard to remember. Merge small steps or move them to a detail page.
Yes, if you can keep them. “Day 1”, “week 2” or “within 48 hours” make the process concrete and answer the question visitors ask most: how long will it take?
A timeline for a sequence over weeks or months, such as a project or a roadmap. Numbered steps for a short procedure, such as sign up, choose, receive.
