From the founder

I started the workshop because I could not get a short run printed the way I wanted it. Not a thousand copies. Forty, on paper you can feel, with ink that sits in the sheet instead of on it.

That is still the whole plan. We set the type ourselves, we mix our own inks, and we print in the afternoon so a proof can be looked at the same day. Everything else follows from those three decisions.

We stay small on purpose. Twelve people is the point where I still know every job and every paper by name, and I would rather keep that than chase the long runs.
