The spring under the north bank runs at the same temperature from May to October. Nothing heats it and nothing is added to it. The basin turns over twice a day, which is why the water stays clear even in August.

Open seven to nine
Doors at seven in the morning, last swim at nine. Mondays the basin is drained and the gate stays shut.

Two hundred at a time
Counted at the turnstile. When it is full you wait on the lawn above, and that rarely takes more than twenty minutes.

Season tickets in March
Sold at the kiosk from the first Monday. About four hundred go in a single morning, so people queue before eight.
